Our Prez is cooler than yours. Barack Obama proves that again today when at 2pm ET he’ll hold the first “Twitter Town Hall,” answering questions specifically about the economy and jobs.

During a live webcast, tweeters will be able to submit questions via askobama.twitter.com or using the hashtag #AskObama. According to Mashable, Twitter (which recently announced it was worth $7 billion, almost doubling in value in the last seven months) designed and is hosting the Web site for the event.

In related news, Republican presidential candidates plan on debating via Twitter on July 20, using 140TownHall.com as a platform.
