Charlie Sheen Roast To Steal Ashton’s Thunder On Two And A Half Men

Charlie Sheen’s upcoming Comedy Central Roast will air only 30 minutes after Ashton Kutcher debuts as his replacement on Two and a Half Men. “If you think this is a coincidence then you are nuts,” said a source at the network.
But can even the Warlock detract from the TV hit he helped build? Comedy Central’s most popular roast ever (of Jeff Foxworthy) drew 4.4 million viewers. Two and a Half Men averaged almost triple that last season, with 12.7 million viewers an episode—and we can assume an extra million or two would tune in to see how Sheen’s character gets written (killed?) off and if Kutcher can carry the show forward.
Kutcher could have the last laugh. For a single season of the show, he will earn a reported $20 million. Not to mention that his wife, Demi Moore, is Sheen’s brother’s ex. Zing! (What happened to Emilio Estevez?)
Personally, I hope that Sheen reveals that his drug abuse, feud with CBS, and failed comedy tour were all a pre-planned, elaborate joke, and that Ashton has actually just been Punk’d.
