Adam Sandler Pulls A Tyler Perry For Upcoming Film, Jack and Jill
With all of the crazy, over-the-top roles funnyman Adam Sandler has played over the years (including his Saturday Night Live days), it should come as no surprise that he would go the route of several comedians and a certain playwright and do multiple roles— including one in drag.
In fact, the question is what took him so long?
At first glance, I’d have to guess that Sandler held off on doing this because he knew he would make an extremely hideous woman. He was right.
The premise of Jack and Jill—with Sandler playing both titular characters—is quite simple. Jack Sadelstein has a loving wife (played by Katie Holmes) and kids, but hates the holidays because his obnoxious twin sister, Jill, always comes to town and wreaks havoc on his life.
To make matters even worse, Jill finds herself a love interest during the movie. I would’ve personally written him into the movie as a blind man, but Sandler did not go that route. None other than the great Al Pacino (playing himself) falls in love with Jill. Does that mean Scarface is gonna kiss a dude? We hope not.

Jack and Jill will be released November 11.
