Kanye West To Launch Women’s Collection During New York Fashion Week

Kanye West will (finally) be launching his own clothing collection during the September Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week. But whereas most may have assumed his first collection would be a menswear one, it is in fact slated to be a women’s collection.
Kanye is collaborating with British knitwear designer Louise Goldin (whose work is shown in the above image), along with the head of the Central St. Martin’s Fashion Institute graduate school, Louise Wilson. Design greats such as Alexander McQueen and John Galliano have graduated from this prestigious school.
