The Air Jordan 11 Low IE is set to make its glorious return to sneaker racks this Saturday, so it’s only right that the kick take home Kick Pick of the Week honors. Originally released following the Air Jordan XI, the Jordan 11 Low IE blends a litany of textures and materials resulting in an enticing lifestyle shoe. While the sneak may share the Air Jordan name and number 11 in its title, you won’t find any patent leather on these bad boys. The general silhouette and mid-sole remain, but the wrapped patent leather which is a staple of the XI has been traded in for pebbled leather and mesh. Some purists argue that re-tooling the XI is an abomination, but for me it’s an intriguing twist on an already classic design. The almost icy, smoked out mid-sole helped secure Kick Pick of the Week status, so we’re not worried. Are these scoop-worthy for you—this Saturday!—at $120?
