Submitted by on July 14, 2011 – 8:29 amOne Comment

Trae Tha Truth has overcome being banned from the radio in his hometown of Houston, Texas, to releasing his sixth album with features including Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Jadakiss and more. The 18-track Street King finally hit shelves yesterday, marking the Trae’s first official album in three years.

We caught up with Trae to discuss something other than music: his style. Trae reviewed some of the essential that help complete his signature look, from his jewelry to his jeans—check it out:

“I have a variety of chains, two large pinky rings and twin gold bracelets with big black diamond stones. Of course the grills in my mouth, too. The piece that means the most to me is a pendant I have which reads “I Am My Brother’s Keeper,” honoring my brother Dinkie who is serving a life sentence in prison.”

“Plain tees, mostly v-necks, in different colors.”

“Always clean, classic Levi’s.”

“I mostly only wore fitted hats, but one of my homies put me on to snapbacks recently.”

“Black Locs all day”

“Chucks, and certain adidas kicks.”
