It wasn’t intended, but looking at the photos in this edition of “What’s Hot Now,” I was clearly in the mood for studs. Check out the three randomly amazing things we’re highlighting this week:

Eddie Borgo launched his first collection of bold jewelry in 2009, followed by being warded runner up in the CFDA /Vogue Fashion Fund in 2010 and the Swarovski Award for Accessory Design winner in 2011. His designs are known for being glamorous while maintaining street cred. For his spring 2011 collection, Eddie drew inspiration from Madonna’s 1992 book Sex, which explored bondage and S&M. His designs for men are unique and wearable for the rockstar, rapper and understated gentleman alike. Eddie has collaborated with everyone from Marchesa to Jason Wu and even J. Crew!

2. CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN FALL 2011 “LOUIS” MATTE STUDDED SNEAKER

We’ve all seen Pharrell and Swizz Beatz, among others, flaunting their studded out Louboutin sneakers. Well the Louis model is back for fall 2011, but with a sleeker, matte black, stud design. For those not up for rocking the flashier silver or gold studs, as Lil Wayne does in the image below, these are a more subtle but still head-turning option.

3. MONSTER HEARTBEATS BY LADY GAGA

Lady Gaga just launched her second collection of headphones with Beats by Dr. Dre. The newest in-ear “Heartbeats,” designed by the superstar herself, feature  a leather look with stud designs in both black and white/gold with sonic technology. While these good looking headphones are obviously functional items, they make pretty hot accessories!
