You Fancy, Huh: Drake Avoids Shooting On The New Season Of Degrassi
They may look innocent but this season the students at Degrassi are all about sex, scandal, stalkings and schoolyard shootings.
The Emmy-nominated super popular Canadian teen telenovela, Degrassi: Now Or Never, is back with it’s 11th season filled with more teen angst, melodrama, love triangles and awkward identity crises (Where do I belong? Do I fit in? Will anyone miss me when I’m gone? Is my boyfriend cheating on me with that cute boy in homeroom? If I’m a boy, why do I love wearing high heels?). The series wil also tackle huge issues like teen bullying, teen pregnancy, drug abuse and gang violence.
Keke Palmer of True Jackson, VP will appear on the show this season playing herself but our favorite Degrassi student of all time has to be Jimmy Brooks played by Canadian actor and rapper Drake who appeared on the show for seven seasons. In the show Brooks is a basketball player who is shot by a classmate.
Degrassi will premiere all new episodes on TeenNick everyday from Monday through Thursday, for seven weeks straight.
