Is Jessie J Really That Stylish, Or Is She A Hot Mess?
Since Jessie J broke out on the music scene, her signature look of pale skin, bright lips, blunt black bangs and edgy outfits seems to have been welcomed with open arms. If you had to describe her fashion sense, it falls somewhere between Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj.
But we’d like to ask—is Jessie J really stylish? She tends to favor body suits when it comes to red carpets and performances, from lace to sheer fabrics and leather. When she’s in the streets, she can be spotted in an outfits like the one above—chunky shoes and a random mix of pieces that, quite honestly, often looks a sloppy mess!
Last month, she cleaned up incredibly well for the Glamour Women of the Year Awards by slicking her bangs back into a softer wavy hairdo, rocking less makeup and a classy long sequin gown. The look still stood out, especially with that statement black-and-gold necklace she wore, but it was in a sleeker, more grown way than her usual attire.
