Law & Order: HL (Hot Lawyers)

It’s been a rough few weeks for the Law & Order franchise. The original is gone; and now, so is Criminal Intent.  Both Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay are leaving SVU.  But some good news! SVU will now have not one, but TWO hot lawyers! Stephanie March and Diane Neal, both vets of the franchise, are reprising their roles as Assistant District Attorneys next season.

But which ones were they?  All of those supermodels standing next to Sam Waterston start to blend together.  For your benefit, here’s a list of our favorites:

Angie Harmon as Abbie Carmichael: In my mind, Angie Harmon is classic L&O.  Always a little naïve and outraged at the deals that are cut, her Abbie Carmichael appeared in the 2nd most number of episodes of any ADA in the series. And as a former Baywatch babe married to former Giants star Jason Sehorn, she seems to have the whole minor celebrity thing down.

Elizabeth Rohm as Serena Southerlyn: Most episodes of any ADA! Although the only one I remember is her final appearance, when she is fired and out of nowhere asks if it’s because she’s a lesbian. Then again, maybe that was the point…

Stephanie March as Alexandra Cabot: Oh, those glasses. That blondness. And she had an awesome guest appearance on 30 Rock.

Diane Neal as Casey Novak: The series’ only redhead! And another awesome 30 Rock appearance.

Sharon Stone as Jo Marlowe: That’s right, this superstar taught these kids a thing or two as an ADA in four episodes of SVU. Unfortunately, network censorship must have prevented a Basic Instinct-style interrogation scene.
