Your Guide To The Coolest Drinks This Summer
There’s no limit in the choices we have nowadays when it comes to sexy summer drinks. Whether your beverage of choice is champagne, vodka, cognac or gin, brands are coming up with new flavors on a regular basis, attempting to stay one step ahead of their competitors. Check out our current favorites below.
Moet Ice Imperial
Moet & Chandon’s Ice Imperial is a champagne intended to be served on the rocks. The blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes is slightly sweeter and fruitier than the classic M&C Imperial, and relaxes into a bright, very drinkable glass as your ice melts. Because this bubbly isn’t too precious, you won’t get any dirty looks if you throw some fresh mint or fruit in our flute.
A smooth blend of Courvoisier cognac and premium French red wine grapes, Courvoisier Rose is a light and refreshing cognac drink. Packaged in the iconic Josephine bottle, Courvoisier Rose’s flavor profile features notes of blackberry, black currant and a touch of cherry, complemented by vanilla, honey and vine-peach flavors. For those who typically pair cognac with juice or other mixers, Courvoisier Rose is the ideal alternative.
Belvedere Intense Unfiltered
This vodka is distilled four times from a high-quality baker’s grade grain called Dankowskie Diamond Rye, which is grown in just a handful of farms in the Mazovian region of Poland. The unfiltered aspect gives Belve Intense a distinct aroma and creamy smooth palate with a toasty, slightly nutty finish. The high gloss black bottle with gold leaf text is a must for any prestige bar account.
NUVO Lemon Sorbet
NUVO’s new Lemon Sorbet flavor is a very strong 70 proof, which means 35 percent alcohol versus the original (world’s first sparkling liqueur) pink NUVO, which is 30 proof/15 percent alcohol. It gives the more casual drinker a refreshing twist of sparkling French vodka and lemon citrus, with a cold, crisp, sweet and tangy taste.
Hennessy Black was the brand’s first major launch since 1961. The latest cognac drink has a blend of Jasmine, daffodils and orange flowers mixed with citrus, honey and grapes. The company has had major success with its Black offering, taking cognac drinks to a new market with this mix and move from cognac market alone to mixed spirits. Hennessy Black comes with recipes for a variety of mixed drinks such as Hennessy Black Ice (with lemon juice and sugar), Hennessy Black Bull (coffee Liqueur and cola with ice), Hennessy Black Spice (ginger, syrup and lemon juice) and Hennessy Black Royale (champagne, lemon juice and syrup).
One of the many new drinks aimed at the female drinker, Harmonie is a refreshing blend of premium French vodka, infused natural fruits, flowers and a touch of cognac. The drink’s vibrant violet color and delicious blend of infused berries, violets, and lavender set it apart from the original. It’s best served chilled by itself or with a mixer like lemon-lime or club soda, mixed with champagne or added to a vodka cranberry for a new twist.
Available in strawberry or peach, this first-of-its-kind liqueur can be served on the rocks, chilled in a martini glass or deliciously baked into cupcakes, pastries and more. The choices are all delicious. The strawberry version’s taste is of ripe, sweet strawberry and fresh cream, followed by light tropical notes, a silky texture and a touch of warmth from the premium vodka, resulting in a clean full bodied finish, with a whisper of vanilla. The peach flavor’s taste is creamy, with peachy sweet top-notes balanced by exotic tropical fruit nectar, a silky cream texture and the brightness of premium vodka spirit.
