Kevin Hart Is Coming To A Theater Near You!
You’ve got to love Kevin Hart and his Purple Rain-inspired t-shirt above. Having skyrocketed past household names like Katt Williams and Mike Epps, the pint-sized comedian has all of the momentum and is easily the hottest stand-up comic in the game right now. Hitting us back to back with gems such as I’m A Grown Little Man and Seriously Funny, Hart recently returned to the stage to do his Laugh At My Pain tour.
One of the top-selling comedy events of the new millennium, the 90-city tour sold over $15 million dollars worth of tickets. However, if you didn’t get to see the it, you’re in luck. No, there’s no Comedy Central special coming out. No, the release of his DVD isn’t scheduled for the end of the summer. The man who calls himself “Chocolate Drop” will be following in the tradition of some of the most successful comedians ever to do it by hitting us with a theatrical release.
Filmed in the vein of The Original Kings of Comedy, Laugh At My Pain gives us two hours worth of brand new material from Hart during his performance at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, as well as an in-depth look into his life which includes a return to his childhood home of Philadelphia, PA. Watch him kick it with family, deal with pandemonium, and keep you laughing on September 9 when the film hits theaters.
