Amy Winehouse was found dead yesterday in her London home. She was 27-years-old.
I challenge you to find a person who wasn’t affected by this Grammy winner’s expansive, explosive, beautiful old-soul of a voice.
I could go on and on about her abuse of drugs, alcohol, her plummeting weight or poor choice in men. And I can’t help but wonder why the age of 27 is so difficult to get past for those whose talents touch us in the deep, dark uncultivated places we rarely expose to fresh air and light.
