From Diddy To Marc Anthony: Jennifer Lopez’s Style Evolution With Each Boyfriend
With Jennifer Lopez‘s recent split from Marc Anthony, the media can’t help but speculate on who she will be with next—and if it will be one of her old flames. This led us to reminisce about the many fashion looks of JLo, from her fun urban style when she was with Diddy, to her elegant, Americana steez with Ben Affleck. There was of course her first husband, Ojani Noa. But judging by the photo below, it’s clear there’s not much to say about her basic style from this period:
We’ve reviewed Jennifer’s style evolution between her romances, starting with one of the most talked about:
Diddy – Ghetto Fabulous
Perhaps the biggest leap you’ll see in Jennifer’s style over the years is from her days with Diddy to—well, everyone after that! She openly embraced hip-hop in her style, wearing Sean John crop tops with bandannas on her forehead and such. “Jenny from the block” also didn’t shy from scandalous, skin-bearing ensembles like her infamous sheer Versace gown (seen above). Definitely her most adventurous years to say the least.
Cris Judd – Feminine Touch
When JLo ditched the hip-hop mogul life and opted for her backup dancer, Cris Judd instead, her style took a more demure and feminine turn. She was spotted in glamorous gowns on the red carpet, but still kept it fun with looks like her chiffon getup below. Less video vixen, more star power.
Ben Affleck – Classic American
During her high profile relationship with Ben Affleck, affectionately known as “Bennifer,” Jennifer seemed to have adapted to the Boston native’s style. She was seen attending Red Sox baseball games in casual threads and hitting the red carpet in polished looks.
Marc Anthony – The Lady
Ah, then comes Marc Anthony. Well, we should say comes back, since the two dated in the late 1990′s. Jennifer continued to class up her style, opting for glamorous yet age appropriate, ladylike looks. With the couple’s recent split, reports are emerging that Marc was very controlling over the way Jennifer dressed, preferring the sexy siren stay covered up as much as possible. We wonder if the divorce will have Jennifer switching up her style again. Cougar, anyone?
When do you think Jennifer Lopez’s style was at it’s finest? And who was your favorite boyfriend/husband of hers?
