Yes, what you see is Twilight‘s Kristen Stewart as an armored Snow White for the upcoming film Snow White and the Huntsman. Stewart took to the stage at Comic-Con 2011 to talk about the film, which includes Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen and Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman. This version of Snow White will be adult oriented and darker than you expect. Thanks to producers Joe Roth (Alice In Wonderland) and Sam Mercer (Sixth Sense) along with director Rupert Sanders, you can expect this to be one badass film.

In the epic-action adventure “Snow White and the Huntsman,” Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar winner Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) who was dispatched to kill her. Sam Clafin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White’s beauty and power.

One other little interesting tidbit: There will be eight dwarves instead of seven due to copyright issues with Disney. Check out the rest of the cast in the film which releases June 1, 2012.
