Kick Pick of the Week: Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Pine Green”

Submitted by on August 4, 2011 – 9:59 amNo Comment

The kick pick of this week is a modern take on a classic silhouette from our pals at Nike. The boys in Beaverton struck gold when they rolled out the sleek and sturdy Foamposite material way back in the late 90s. I don’t think anyone at the time could have predicted the longevity and storied history the material would enjoy, but it is still very much a sneaker fixture today. While the weight of Foamposite structure can’t hold up to the feather-like meshes being used on basketball kicks today, the casual community has championed the Foamposite in a major way. The latest iteration of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro set to release paints the kick in an iridescent pine green which is on the subtle side compared to recent releases. As always the kick is complimented with a ice sole which has become a modern day staple of the Foamposite look. Get a good hard look at the kicks and start saving your chips and your sick days for September 2nd when the crowds will surely pour out and shell out 200 clams for these.
