Pop singers love the limelight and if you ask they’ll likely pretend to love their fans even more (when’s the last time you heard any acceptance speech without the words “and finally I’d like to thank my fans without which none of this would be possible?). Ironically stars tend to forget that the word “fan” is short for “fanatic,” and when their “supporters” get overly excited and crazily try to get too close for comfort, they usually realize there is one thing they love more than their fans (and GOD) and that’s their trusty security guards.

While onstage in Brazil this week, Avril Lavigne screams when a fan storms the stage causing her to jump off the piano she was perched upon. After security removes the fella, Avril composes herself and begins her cover of Coldplay’s “Fix You.”
