Reportedly, Reggie Bush is making a last ditch effort to get Kim Kardashian to call off her upcoming wedding to Kris Humphries in order to reunite with her. Of the NFL star, who dated Kimmy for two years before the duo split last year, a source told Life & Style magazine:

“He’s been sending text messages to Kim and leaving her voice mails, telling her she’s making a mistake and that he’s the one for her. In the past, Kim was friendly to Reggie but now she’s stopped responding.”

Supposedly, Reggie is so desperate that he’s resorted to getting Kimmy’s friends to relay messages to her; one which she received on August 4 while getting fitted for her Vera Wang wedding dress in the designer’s NYC studio. The source said:

“It was a friend telling Kim that her ex Reggie Bush needed to talk to her. He was begging her to call off the wedding—and give him another chance.”

Apparently, Reggie’s been trying to tug at Kimmy’s heartstrings by using a special nickname the two of them shared when they were a couple, but the tactic is starting to piss her off. According to Life & Style’s source:

Reggie’s been texting Kim using a special nickname they’ve always kept as a secret between the two of them. “She used to love that nickname,” Kim’s pal reveals, “but now that he’s using it when she’s about to get married to someone else, it’s just annoying to her.”

And if there’s any doubt about how Kimmy feels about a possible reunion with Reggie, the source added:

“She was burned by the end of their relationship, and she’s truly moved on.”

Kimmy may have moved on, but I’m free Reggie…
