Carmello Anthony was recently spotted this off-season with his sultry wife La La Vasquez in an extra crisp pair of Air Jordan IIIs. The particular Air Jordan IIIs in question are the “True Blue” variety, and while the AJ III has long since been a favorite of adoring fans, it appears to be taking a top spot among celebrities, as well. We’ve seen Drake, Kid Cudi, and Rick Ross recently sporting elephant-printed IIIs and now New York transplant Carmelo joins the mix. While Carmelo’s bulbous contract won’t leave him wanting if an impending lockout ensues, he could probably ration off a few of his millions on his wardrobe. While the IIIs are a nice touch fo’sr a casual night on the town with one’s young wife, the quarter buttoned t-shirt/tunic/wannabe henley is no way to pull a look together. ‘Melo doesn’t look too pleased to be photographed either—maybe he thought he could sneak that t-shirt concoction by the paparazzi’s watchful eye. Though, with a wife like LaLa, a skill set like he possesses and a monstrous contract, it’s hard to say ‘Melo isn’t doing pretty well for himself.
