Lady Gaga’s Grandma Is Her Number One Fan
Just when you thought your grandmother was the coolest out there, along comes Angelin Germanotta.
Her granddaughter, one Lady Gaga, is one of the most controversial pop stars in the world but according to her grandma, butter doesn’t melt in young Stefani’s precious (and potty) mouth.
Gaga’s grandmother listens to her tunes regularly and says neither her musical content nor risque wardrobe bothers her. The 80-year-old tells Life & Style magazine: “I listen to her songs. I love her music. I’m blind, so I really don’t see all those sexy outfits. I can only see her legs when she is on TV, so it’s good that she wears those outfits, so I can spot her.”
Angelin also said while her granddaughter is known for her outrageous outfits, when she’s at home she’s back to being “normal.”
“She wears jeans and just ordinary clothes with the family,” says the elder Germanotta. “She was a straight-A student, did all of her homework and went to Mass!”
In related news, Gaga is up for three statues at the MTV Video Music Awards, airing 9pm ET on August 28. She filmed an anticipated promo for the festivities this week curiously involving “blood” and “fire.”
I am glad to see this article because just this week, we got a phone call from Lady GAGA’s grandmother wanting a song my daughter recorded. She told us she was blind and that her Son, Lady GAGA’s dad would buy it for her. All she wanted to know was if this was the right “Angelina” and the right song. She likes “Angelina” too! : ) very cool. I wasn’t sure about the whole thing till I read this article and it confirms she is blind.
