Eddie Murphy Returns To The Big Screen With Ben Stiller

Eddie Murphy is set to return to the big screen in what seems poised to be his best live-action comedy since Norbit, which wasn’t all that funny. While keeping busy with Shrek films, we’ve been waiting for the man to return to his adult audience in a major way, and it seems he may finally have done that with Tower Heist. Featuring an all-star cast of Ben Stiller, Matthew Broderick, Casey Affleck, Tea Leoni, and Gabourey Sidibe and some of you were convinced she’d never work again, the film is all about a group of hard workers who find out that they’ve been swindled out of their retirement funds in a ponzi scheme (shots fired at Bernie Madoff) and go seeking revenge.

Murph himself plays a criminal who is bailed out by Stiller to help the working stiffs figure out how to best go about robbing their billionaire boss (put on house arrest as he stands trial for the ponzi scheme) to get their money back. Are we looking at a possible love scene between Murphy and Sidibe? Check out the trailer, it seems to suggest a little romance.

Tower Heist is directed by Brett Ratner and will hit theaters November 4.
