Beyoncé Is “The Second Coming Of Michael Jackson” Says Jay-Z; Finally Ready To Pop Out Some Babies
Perhaps Jay-Z was talking about another pair of sweet cheeks taking a seat other than his own when he told the world to watch the throne.
The 41-year-old rapper otherwise known as Shawn Carter, first put a ring on it and now he wants to put a crown on it. Gushing about the baddest chick on his arm, Jay felt the need to compare his wifey Beyoncé to the late, great King of Pop Michael Jackson.
“What I’ve learned from her is similar to what I learned from Mike [Jackson]—and I know that’s blasphemy to compare the two because Mike was such an innovator—but I think she’s like the second coming,” Jay-Z said during a radio phone interview with Miami, Florida’s 99 Jamz. “You know, the hard work and dedication that she puts into her shows. It just makes you want to work harder at your own craft. She’s like a machine.”
Jigga what? Jigga who? Although some fans and critics may crucify Jay for his bold statements and while the 29-year-old diva has a long way to go before reaching MJ status, she is honestly on her way. No other artist is killing the game right now like Sasha Fierce. Whether creating signature dance moves or breaking more records than we care to mention, they don’t call her Queen B for nothing.
Beyoncé showed off her star status on the latest cover of InStyle magazine, donning a gold star covered Dolce & Gabbanna mini-dress. The singer opened up about fame, career and teaming up with Jay-Z for another type of collaboration. “I have no regrets because my job kept me focused. When you’re young—18 or 19—you have the energy and drive,” she revealed “That’s the time to work as hard as you can. Now I’m a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage. I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children.”
Guess we’ll have to watch the throne even harder if B and J get down to the business of popping out some heirs. Check out Beyoncé behind the scenes of her shoot with InStyle below. The September issue hits newsstands today, August 18th.
