Rihanna & Eminem To Headline The V Festival In The UK
This weekend’s V Festival is shaping up to be the biggest in the event’s 16 year history.
The festival kicks off tomorrow and approx. 90,000 people are expected over the next two days in Hylands Park (stretched between Chelmsford and Staffordshire, England) where over 80 acts will perform across four stages. Thankfully for concertgoers used to the UK’s temperamental weather a dry, sunny weekend with high temperatures is forecast.
Eminem and Rihanna are headlining the show on Sunday night, with the Arctic Monkeys and Plan B featured on Saturday. Local stars Dizzee Rascal and Tinie Tempah are appearing also, along with Primal Scream, Glasvegas, Squeeze and more.
“The breadth of accomplished talent performing throughout the weekend across the stages is something we are very proud of,” says festival director Bob Angus.
Ticket holders are being encouraged to download the event’s official smartphone application which features tools to help users find their way around the site and locate their tent and car (and even fellow festival-goers with the Facebook Friend Finder) to ensure they make the most of their experience.
