Lil Wayne’s Skateboarding Dreams Off To Rocky Start Due To Accident
Lil Wayne may have been dressing like a skateboarder for years but he’s only recently been taking the sport seriously.
According to people within the sub-culture, Weezy’s been getting lessons from some big names like Adam Z from 5 Boro Skateboards, who’s become his personal skate instructor. Wayne’s definitely learning the pitfalls of the sport as he goes along—just last night he crashed and busted his face at a park in St. Louis.
Lil Wayne needed 9 stitches to close a bloody wound over his left eye last night after crashing HARD at a skateboard park in St. Louis.
Weezy was treated at a local hospital and one witness told a local TV station the rapper was accompanied by several members of his entourage. According to the hospital, Wayne was treated and released.
Wayne seems to be doing OK because he was already tweeting about the crash this morning, calling the injury a “gnarly gash.”
