Kick Pick of The Week: Air Jordan III “Stealth”
The Kick Pick of this Week comes in the form of a fresh take on a classic Air Jordan silhouette. The Air Jordan III is a mainstay in the numeraled lineup, and it was love elephant printed at first sight for many sneaker enthusiasts when the kicks were released in 1988. Since then the Air Jordan III has seen many iterations which go by their own monikers including the True Blues, Cool Greys and Cements. There’s no doubt these will soon be known colloquially as the Stealths, and for good reason. While the kicks are texture laden, the colors are muted, so the ornate details are only apparent upon close inspection. Elephant print isn’t the only animal inspiration on these IIIs which make use of a snakeskin mud-guard that runs the length of the kick. There’s been a lot of conjecture surrounding the potential release date, but the official word has been passed down by the Nike big wigs, and if you’ve got the requisite $150 you can scoop these up September 3rd.
