Jersey Shore Cast Airlifted To LA For The VMAs
While we’re stuck here on the East Coast battling the beast that is Hurricane Irene, the cast of the Jersey Shore (one of the hardest hit areas, coincidentally) has been treated like royalty to ensure they make it to out West in time for tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards.
Hurricane and devastation be damned—the network couldn’t have its biggest stars miss this evening’s festivities, so they chartered a private jet to take Snooki, Vinnie, Deena, Ronnie and Sammi to Los Angeles, according to TMZ.
The foursome flew out late Friday night, avoiding the hurricane before it crippled local airports. The rest of the cast were doing events in other parts of the country (Pauly D was in Oklahoma DJing while J-Woww was hosting a party at PURE in Las Vegas) and they’ve all now been reunited in LA.
The MTV Video Music Awards air live tonight from 9/8c. The red carpet pre-show, hosted by Selena Gomez, is from 8/7c.
