New Movie Trailer: Daniel Radcliffe Gets Seriously Spooked
Creepy kids. Toys that come to life. And a skeleton lady prowling around a mansion cut of from society. It’s a dark and stormy night, too! The latest trailer for The Woman in Black announces loud and clear that it is a horror movie, and it intends to scare the pants off you.
Daniel Radcliffe goes for thrills in his first post-Potter release, wearing a day-old beard that, as one writer put it, says “The boy wizard is now a man.” He plays Arthur Kipps, a young London lawyer who must go out to the country to settle the affairs of a woman who has just died. But when Arthur realizes that she’s not entirely gone, he must unravel the story of The Woman and the dead children who also haunt the home. I don’t want to spoil anything, but according to Wikipedia, to “avoid a fate worse than death, Arthur must now sacrifice everything he holds dear…”
If all these creepy Victorian English people are getting you down, check out Victorian English people getting hilariously down-and-dirty in the latest trailer for Hysteria. It tells the story of doctors in the early 1900s who popularized the vibrator. That’s right: Doctors had been giving women their jollies for centuries, claiming it treated a “nervous condition,” and then they finally made a machine to help.
I think this film could make a really fun drinking game. Take a shot every time they use a silly word or phrase for “vagina”!
