With two hit mixtapes to his name already, the recent Duke University graduate is poised to blow up, and is only helping his cause by being photographed in fresh kicks. Mike was recently seen out in L.A. on the red carpet and in front of the Lil Wayne Tha Carter IV step and repeat. While securing an invite to the prestigious event is cool, it’s only half the battle. Stars know the paparazzi will be in full force and Mike was duly prepared, gracing the red carpet in a fresh and crispy pair of Air Jordan XIs. More than that, he wore one of the most sought after pair of XIs, known in the industry and beyond as the “Cool Grey XIs.” While Mike’s overall ensemble was completely casual, he helped his cause by having each piece fit nicely, and a proverbial tip of the hat to your alma mater is always nice.
