NFL Player Braylon Edwards Thinks Keri Hilson Sucks In Concert

Heeeeeeeeeere we go again! If you’ve followed Braylon Edwards‘s career at all over the course of the last few years, then you know two things: One, he’s an outstanding, if not slightly underachieving, talent on the football field. And, two, he’d be even better if he learned how to shut his mouth and focus on football.

Edwards is, of course, the same guy who tweeted something about getting into a fight at a bar a few weeks ago and then deleted the evidence later and tried to say that his Twitter account had been hacked. Now, he’s landed himself in the news yet again for something stupid that he said on Twitter the other night. Apparently, Edwards attended a Lil Wayne concert on Friday and got there in time to see Keri Hilson perform as one of Wayne’s opening acts. Not a bad move, right? Keri is, after all, pretty easy on the eyes and one of the baddest chicks in the R&B game.

But that’s not how Edwards saw it. Instead, Edwards took the time to take a shot at Keri on—surprise, surprise!—his Twitter account. “Kerri Hilson is boring as hell in concert,” he wrote during her part of the show. Um, okay? First, Braylon, it’s Keri, not Kerri. As in, “My name is Keri, I’m so very…” Haven’t you turned on the radio in the last six months? Secondly, you had to know that this tweet was going to be seen by other people, right? And you know that one of Keri’s people told her about it when she stepped off stage—or shortly thereafter—right? And you know she’s got a “Braylonn Edwards can’t catch a ball to save his life” tweet coming at you sometime this season, right? RIGHT?

Bottom line: You need to get off Twitter dude! Or, at the very least, stop sending out stupid tweets that put your name into the headlines for all the wrong reasons. You’re better than this. You joined the San Francisco 49ers recently and you’ve seemingly been given the opportunity to go out and make people forget about all the dumb things you’ve done in the recent past. So, why don’t you hop off Twitter, leave Keri alone, and make the most of it?

We really don’t want to take shots at you anymore for doing stuff like this. But you make it so hard not to when you keep on doing it. Leave that poor girl alone and get your head back into the game.
