Labor Day Kick Pick: Air Jordan IV “Military Blue”
While it seems summer passed in the blink of an eye, there are sill some warm weather vestiges to cling on to for dear life. Though Labor Day may mark the unofficial end of summer, there is life for sneakerphiles by way of the Air Jordan IV “Military Blue.” Realistically no other Air Jordan release is as apropos at a BBQ matched up with a pair of shorts and cavalier attitude. While the Air Jordan IV “Military Blue” may be the perfect kick for this Summer’s labor day BBQ, unless you’ve got the retro round from 2006, you’ll have to wait for next year’s festivities. It’s been confirmed in the sneaker underworld that the fan favorite Air Jordan IVs colloquially known as the Military IVs will received a second retro round come June 2012. While the release is cause for celebration and a good pretext to chomp down on a few extra hot dogs, the price-tag is a different story. From a fiscally friendly $115 in 2006 these puppies have skyrocketed far past the rate of inflation in 6 years 40% to $160. So mark you calendars and save your chips for the return of the Military IVs.
