Would You Wear Nike Air Foamposite One “Eye of the Tiger”?

No these aren’t a newly fashioned animal-inspired kick being offered up by Nike, nor the official turf shoe of the Cincinnati Bengals (though that might be cool). These are a customized pair of Nike Air Foamposites which have been hand painted by Baltimore native Jon Carrington. While some sneaker enthusiasts may consider it sacrilegious, that didn’t stop Jon from slapping paint to foam to achieve a pretty recognizable tiger-print pattern. Jon has dubbed the kicks the Nike Air Foamposite One “Eye of the Tiger” and the reasoning behind the nomenclature is pretty apparent. While these might go over grand in Cincy, how is the rest of the world feeling about these hand painted foams—ferocious or faux pas? If your inclination is toward the former, don’t be shy. Though these are hand painted, they’re not 1 of 1 and Jon is serving up 10 pairs of these to the first 10 interested parties. Hit him up @ [email protected]
