Sean “Diddy” Combs has made no secret about his love of the female form and an ample romp shaker. Clearly, there was a reason he fell in a love with Jennifer Lopez at first sight and it had nothing to do with her singing or acting ability. Now, the music mogul is getting to the bottom of his obsession of all things bootylicious with a new coffee table book celebrating his favorite asset.

In collaboration with Interscope Geffen A&M chairman Jimmy Iovine and famed music and fashion photographer Raphael Mazzucco, Diddy is releasing a stunning 248-page photo book named Culo from the Italian and Spanish word for “ass.” Inspired by Will.i.am‘s trip to Brazil, the book is touted as an “art, fashion, and pop-culture movement that defies all national, cultural, and linguistic boundaries. No matter if you were raised to call it derriere, tush, rear end, or booty, culo is the new epicenter of female sexuality, desire, and empowerment. Over the past decade, some of the world’s most celebrated women have subtly shifted our long-held ideals of physical perfection toward a shape that is more authentic and bold. In more than 200 photographs and artworks created on location around the world, a diverse group of women—some already legendary, some about to become so—embody the spirit of culo and the start of a new era of beauty.”

Culo has already garnered some attention in Hollywood. In late August, Mazzucco made a guest appearance on HBO‘s Entourage and took photos of “Vince” (Adrian Grenier), while the book was featured in the scene and verbally mentioned in the script.

In Culo‘s foreword, Jimmy opens up about his fancy of fannies. “We at Interscope put projects out with anyone we believe has a great idea and is a true talent, whether it’s a musician, photographer, software developer, or technology innovator,” wrote Jimmy. “Raphael fits perfectly into what we do. Interscope Records has always been a heat-seeking missile when it comes to shifts in popular culture, whether inciting them or reacting to them swiftly. The impetus for this book is a little of both.”

No one is more pleased with this venture then Raphael himself who wrote in Culo‘s foreword, “I have enjoyed every single moment I’ve spent in the company of these breathtaking women, of having the air sucked out of the room and feeling my heart race from the sheer joy of seeing my vision come to life.”

Culo by Mazzucco hits shelves on Nov. 22th from Atria Books. Buy your copy of the book now on the official Web site here.
