I’m sure that this bit of news will have people up in arms. Chad Ochocinco‘s fiance Evelyn Lozada took to Twitter to announce that she is quitting both Twitter and the reality show that made her relevant for doing nothing, VH1‘s Basketball Wives.

Sad, isn’t it?

Apparently, Lozada wasn’t too thrilled with a blog posting on VH1 that suggested she cheated on Ochocinco with his good buddy Terrell Owens. She was so mad that she just had to take to Twitter to announce her media whorish ways are over. And guess what? We’re not buying it.

“Just wanted to say that I won’t be on Twitter for a while. Going 2 possibly delete my account & I won’t be signing on 2 do anymore shows,” she tweeted.

Since when does somebody who does nothing all of a sudden drop the only show that would dare make her a celebrity? Sure, the blog posting wasn’t too flattering, but doesn’t she know that it will never end now that she’s with an NFL player? Perhaps she believes that by quitting Twitter nobody can find her and shower her with unflattering tweets. And without Basketball Wives what is she? A football wife!

You see, this could be a grand ploy by Lozada to take her talents from the unmarried basketball ladies of South Beach to the maybe married football baby mommas TV show. It makes sense. She can’t really be on Basketball Wives if she becomes a football wife, right?

Either way, it would be great if Lozada really left the show because the show would struggle without her. It would perhaps lead to the show’s cancellation and we can live happily ever after.

But the reality is that she’ll likely be back on VH1 and we’ll have to act like none of this ever happened.
