He Said He’d Be Back: Schwarzenegger Gets Bigger Role In The Expendables 2
Scandal-ridden ex-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger may be staging his comeback with his appearance in The Expendables 2, the follow-up to 2010′s surprisingly successful retro-action-star-filled blockbuster.
Arnie made a cameo appearance in that one. But according to the latest reports, he and Bruce Willis have both signed on for more “substantial” roles. So I guess this time, they can really dig into the meaty characters of men who shoot things and blow them up.
Returning cast members include Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Randy Couture, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and Terry Crews. On Tuesday, EW reported that Stallone confirmed Jean-Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris had joined the cast. Rumors are still circling about Nicholas Cage and John Travolta.
Stallone has promised a throwdown in the film between himself and Van Damme. But who will take on the suicide mission against Norris’s Beard?
