Best & Worst: Red Carpet At The 2011 Emmys
Glamorous is an understatement when it comes to last night’s red carpet at the 2011 Emmy Awards.
Brilliant bursts of color in the form of fitted gowns showed off the actresses’ taut and incredible bodies. Lea Michele‘s picture-perfect look (she was the only star dressed personally by the ladies of Marchesa) kicked off the primary theme of the night, smoking hot red gowns. Emerald greens, royal blues, rose pink and more shone brightly on a night hosted by the hilarious Jane Lynch, who changed into a myriad of dresses and tailored suits throughout the night.
Evan Rachel Wood looked a picture of old school Hollywood glam in an Elie Saab gown.
Diana Agron in a mature, electric blue Roksanda Ilincic (not a favorite; she’s a little young for this choice).
Paz de la Huerta bared a leg in this pink chiffon gown (her facial expression, however, takes away from the elegance)
Funny girl Kristen Wiig chose a bronze-colored gown from Zac Posen.
Kate Winslet in another hit from Lebanese designer Elie Saab.
Gwyneth Paltrow chose a daring look, rocking a bare midriff in an Emilio Pucci gown.
The always beautiful Sofia Vergara shined in Vera Wang.
Elisabeth Moss wore one of the only Marchesa gowns on the night.
Olivia Munn wore the only green dress of the night (which complimented her olive skin) by Carolina Herrera.
Kerry Washington in one of the most beautiful looks of the night, a strapless red gown by Zuhair Murad.
Christina Hendricks looked her usual busty self in a gorgeous Johana Johnson gown.
Nina Dobrev looked beautiful in another red gown, this time from Donna Karan.
Jane Lynch, the show’s host, hit the red carpet in a berry-colored David Meister gown.
