London native Idris Elba is a jack of all trades. The 39-year-old is an actor that has appeared on American and British soil in movies, theater and film. When he’s now starring on the silver screen opposite Hollywood heavyweights like Beyoncé Knowles (Obsessed), Paul Walker (Takers) and Zoe Saldana (The Losers), or shooting ad campaigns as the new celebrity spokesperson for SmartWater, the cutie spends his days and nights DJing for his famous friends’ parties.
Forget triple, Idris is a quadruple threat now throwing his hat into the music machine as a rapper/singer by the name of Driis. Shot in beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico, Driis makes his debut in the official video for his first single, “Private Garden.” Directed by Crystle Clear Roberson with production by 9th Wonder, Idris sounds like an old school John Legend as he uses body paint and an exotic location to lure his lady love into his arms.
