Kanye West, puppets and Kim Kardashian in a Star Wars Princess Leia costume sounds like the perfect ingredients for a comedy show, heck we’re laughing already, excepts it turn out it was a recipe for disaster. The show was canceled before anyone even got a chance to boycott it off the air.

As the story goes, back in 2008, Rhymefest approached Kanye with an idea for a variety show for adults. Kanye, being a huge fan of Crank Yankers, a muppet show on Comedy Central that “shows what happens when puppets make crank phone calls,” called on Jimmy Kimmel‘s production team, Jackhole Productions (which includes Adam Carolla and Daniel Kellison), the creative minds behind Crank Yankers.

Together the group created Alligator Boots, an in-your-face, not-suitable-for-work, “hip-hop Muppet Show” featuring Rhymefest’s puppet alter ego, Pork Troy and a puppet clearly inspired by Barry White named Beary White (pictured above). When it came time for human casting, Kanye was set on having Kim guest star. ” I wanna have, like, Kim Kardashian play Princess Leia because,” he tells Pork Troy on the show, “you know, Kim Kardashian’s ass is just so, just perfect!”

In one infamous scene shot for the pilot, Beary croons to Kimmy, “Let me lay you down on my silky sheets and then come in close behind ya. Then I’ll show you my desire and put my penis inside your vagina.” Originally offended, later the Keeping Up With Kardashians star tells Kanye, “I have to cancel our plans. Remember that bear? The one who wanted to put his penis inside my vagina? Well, I’m gonna go let him. It’s nothing new. I play with puppets all the time at home.”

Figures Kimmy would say such a thing. One look at her relationship with new hubbie Kris Humphries and it’s clear who pulls the strings. The reality starlet is definitely a puppet master.
