PHOTOS: The Most Dangerous Online Celebrities
CL1CK H3RE! HEIDI KLUM NUD P1CS!!!
That, my friends, may be the most virus-ridden statement on the Internet.
McAfee, the Internet security company, has released their annual ranking of the Most Dangerous Celebrities in cyberspace. Google search results and downloads for any of these stars are likely to contain malware intended to steal personal information off your computer.
Project Runway host and Victoria’s Secret model Klum tops the list; almost ten percent of search results for her name contain viruses.
Here’s the entire top ten. I know you want that latest True Blood screensaver, but surf safely.
1. Heidi Klum
It’s easy to see why cybercriminals think Klum makes good bait. Or maybe Germany is launching a new, much subtler, and more effective plan for world domination?
2. Cameron Diaz
Diaz held the top spot on this list in 2010. I’m sure she’s crushed by her drop in rank.
3. Piers Morgan
What Internet surfer could resist the pure sexuality of…Piers Morgan?! This entry on the list has a lot of people scratching their heads, but the host of America’s Got Talent and his own CNN show is certainly popular enough to generate a lot of traffic.
4. Jessica Biel
Another former “#1 Most Dangerous Celeb,” Biel’s chiseled physique (and her on-again-off-again relationship with Justin Timberlake) keep the Google hits coming.
5. Katherine Heigl
This rom-com queen appears in the Top Ten for the first time this year.
6. Mila Kunis
I think certain scenes from Black Swan gave Kunis a bump this year. But where’s Natalie Portman on the list?
7. Anna Paquin
Reading minds on TV, reading personal data on your computer.
8. Adriana Lima
The second Victoria’s Secret model on the list (along with Klum) proves that Angels can be a real devil for your hard drive.
9. Scarlett Johansson
Maybe half the Internet searching for “those pictures” last week vaulted ScarJo into the number nine spot.
10. Brad Pitt, Rachel McAdams, Emma Stone
It’s a three-way tie! Warning: Googling these celebrities’ names with the phrase “three-way” will only make the problem worse.
