Pop artist Ke$ha, 24, burst on the scene in the summer of 2009 with the hit single, “TiK, ToK,” so it’s safe to assume that if Oprah Winfrey was here, she would definitely say that the singer/songwriter is having a “full-circle” moment with the debut of her two Baby-G limited-edition watches.

Casio America, Inc. originally announced last August that the RCA Records recording artist would serve as the newest Brand Ambassador and watch designer for the brand’s Baby-G line of woman’s watches. “I think the Baby-G brand is amazing, it’s stylish, innovative, durable and affordable. The bright colors and metallic finishes really compliment my moods and personality,” said Ke$ha. “I have some fun ideas for my watches and I am so thrilled that I am the first worldwide female artist to be given the opportunity to design my very own Baby-G!”

Ke$ha’s two watch designs reflect perfectly both sides of her personality. The All-American girl is represented with a red, white, and blue watch with her autograph in gold available for $99. The “Blow” singer’s daring adventurous aura is mirrored in the black square-faced watch with a leopard pattern selling for $120.

“I’ve been designing and making my own clothes since I was young and, as an artist, I design all of my stage costumes,” said Ke$ha in a press release. “This experience with Casio is so exciting because it’s my first collaboration as a designer and it’s extra meaningful because I wrote my first single “TiK ToK” on a Casio keyboard. In creating my red, white and blue watch, I was obviously inspired by the American flag because it’s a recurring theme in my aesthetic but also represents freedom of speech, a right I passionately exercise in my life and in my music. Leopard print is another recurring theme in my look, which I like to wear because it brings out my animal inside. I hope when people wear my watches they’re reminded to express themselves always and never lose the animal inside themselves.”
