Yelawolf Speaks Emotionally About The “N” Word

Submitted by on October 3, 2011 – 12:51 pmOne Comment

We’ve been supporting Yelawolf as an artist since before he signed his current deal with Shady/Interscope Records, and videos like this make us even more proud to champion him as one of hip-hop’s best new artists.

In an interview with Vlad TV, ‘Wolf speaks eloquently about his refusal to say the “n” word and explains why no white person should ever feel comfortable doing so. Referring to the history of the word, the fact there are still elderly African-Americans alive today who witnessed the end of slavery and the effect the word still has to this day, he has a message for fellow Caucasian rap acts like V-Nasty.
