With an impressive acting career under his belt (including roles as Jabari on CW’s hit show Girlfriends and starring in HBO’s Six Feet Under series) Kendré is now putting in work as an emerging solo artist who’s just released a cover of Chris Brown‘s recent hit, “Body 2 Body.”

Featuring the vocals of another newcomer, Sha Sha Jones, the remix of “Body 2 Body” is the lead track from Kendré’s forthcoming mixtape, releasing this winter. With his self-proclaimed “nerdy boy swag,” Kendré is hoping to gain a more mature audience with his new sound. Do you rate it?
