The 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards Cyphers (VIDEOS)
The BET Hip Hop Awards has become known for one thing and one thing only: The Cypher. It’s not about the awards given out (seriously, who remembers who won Best Hip Hop Album? Right…) or the performances—it’s all about these rap sessions that bring together artists from all over the globe to see who can outdo one another on the mic. This year, all of the emcees, with the exception of Chris Brown‘s yawn-inducing session, brought it. And although artists like Kendrick Lamar and Skillz did their thing, it was the session that featured Eminem, Royce Da 5’9″, Joe Budden, Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and Yelawolf that took the cake. Ummm…no competition. Eminem 2.0 cypher just rocketed past some of the other even respectable cyphers to the Sun it was that hot. EVERYONE killed it. Outside that cypher Busta Rhymes, Skillz, Kendrick Lamar, & B.O.B in that order
