Now high-end Italian designer Giambattista Valli is bringing his designs to Macy’s for the “Giambattista Valli for Impulse Only at Macy’s” collection in the hopes of becoming a household name like his predecessors Matthew Williamson, Kinder Aggugini and most recently Karl Lagerfeld, whom have all worked with the department store to debut high-end yet accessible clothing lines.
Giambattista’s vivid 17-piece collection will include frilly ruffles, colorblock dresses, delicate blouses and lots of animal prints all priced between $50 to $150, a far cry from the designers regular collection that has become a favorite for celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker, Zoe Saldana
, and Jessica Biel
to name a few.
“This capsule reflects my enduring loves, but is really a celebration of my biggest inspiration of all—the energy and vitality of women themselves,” Valli said in a press release. “I love dressing them for all their happiest moments, making them feel as special as possible. This collection is a passport into my world and a chance to experience the passion and romance of my house and Paris itself.”
The “Giambattista Valli for Impulse Only at Macy’s” collection debuts in 225 Macy’s stores and online on Wednesday, October 26th. Check out the full lookbook below.
