Justin Bieber‘s team had yet another stroke of genius when they decided he should come out with his first Christmas album. Under The Mistletoe, set for release on November 1 (early enough to be part of every teen girl’s wishlist from Thanksgiving onward), only enhances the cookie-cutter image of a music sensation known to be a lot wilder in real life.

In his latest viral video, Justin’s shown once again as the butter-wouldn’t-melt-in-his-mouth vocalist seen hitting the studio to lay vocals for a cover version of Christmas classic, “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.” Behind-the-scenes footage showing the making of the lead single “Mistletoe” and its upcoming music video are included as well.

“Mistletoe” is released today and the video will premiere tomorrow on MTV. In keeping with the new artist trend of bait and play (i.e. “you guys buy our music and get rewarded in return”) if the song reaches number one on iTunes, Bieber will release his latest collaboration with Usher.

One dollar from every copy of Under The Mistletoe will be donated to charity. In keeping with his urban tilt, in addition to Usher, Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, The Band Perry and Boyz II Men are lined up as featured guests on the album.
