At this point it’s no secret that Kanye West and Nike have collaborated on the second coming of the Nike Air Yeezy, appropriately dubbed the Nike Air Yeezy 2. After taking the cake for most buzzed about sneaker of 2009, it was only a matter of time before round two surfaced. This is far from the first time we’ve shown you teaser images of Kanye West rocking his next collaborative kick, and it seems as if both Kanye West and Nike are playing on sneakerheads’ desire and anxiety surrounding a new release. While the stylings remain similar to its forebarer with a visible air unit, chunky strap, and hightop design, Kanye only adds fuel to the fodder each time he sports these in public. Much like the Nike Air Yeezy 1, Kanye teased these out through an entire tour before they eventually released, and it looks as if history may be repeating itself with the Watch The Throne tour. The Nike Air Yeezy 2 is sure to be highly coveted and released in limited quantities, so keep your eyes peeled for news of a sudden release. And remember folks, just because Kanye sports his Yeezy’s paired up with skinny leather pants, a tall tee, and tuxedo jacket, that doesn’t mean you have to.
