Motorola is channeling one of their most popular phones of yesteryear in a revamped Droid model set to compete with smartphone power players. Before Apple added smartphone to its already impressive array of products, Motorola was the “it” phone to have. It began with the sleek and stylish StarTac which was one of the first flip phones ever rolled out way back in the golden age of 1996, and it continued with the Motorola Razr. Motorola was innovative in that they understood a phone’s aesthetic appearance was every bit as important as its technical features with respect to capturing consumers. While Motorola has been no slouch in recent years with their impressive and expanding line of smartphone running on Android software, they may have captured aesthetes once more. While Motorola is calling this phone a Razr, it won’t be flipping, but it will sport a pencil thin frame along with front and rear cameras. Technical details are extremely sparse at the moment, but you can expect the Motorola Droid Razr to be a major player in the already competitive smartphone landscape.

Eh, looks like any other smart phone now a days. We need more creative innovated ideas to to be impressed, instead of the same old iphone touchscreen look alikes!
