Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em…That You’ve Been Arrested!
Soulja Boy took fellow Atlanta-based rapper 2 Chainz‘ “ridin’ around and gettin’ it” mantra to another level early this morning.
TMZ reports:
Sources tell TMZ Soulja Boy was in a car with four other men, which was originally pulled over for a traffic violation [at 3:15 AM this morning in Temple, Georgia]. During the stop, cops found a “substantial amount” of marijuana and cash inside the vehicle.” Soulja and the four other men were all arrested.
Law enforcement sources tell us officers also found guns inside the car, though it’s unclear if any of the men had the proper licenses to be in possession of the firearms.
According to a source quoted as being close to the situation, there was roughly $70,000 worth of cash and drugs found in the car. Born DeAndre Cortez Way, 21-year-old Soulja Boy has a lot to answer to when he emerges from Carrol County Jail, where he’s currently being held.
