Bridget Kelly Sets Out To “Seek & Destroy”

Bridget Kelly has been waiting for this moment since we first heard her angelic voice on “Empire State Of Mind” during her Roc Nation boss Jay-Z‘s tour (in replacement of original feature Alicia Keys).

The New York native debuted her new single “Seek & Destroy,” a instantly-stuck-in-your-head, girl-friendly anthem penned by The-Dream, yesterday in an intimate setting in front of a group of online media. Down to earth and bubbly, the 25-year-old is a graduate of LaGuardia High School of Music & Art (she counts Wynter Gordon and Nicki Minaj as fellow alumni). If “Seek & Destroy” and its predecessor, the Frank Ocean-penned “Thinking About Forever” (which she sang a cappella in front of her media audience) are an indicator of what Kelly’s upcoming album will sound like, her label has another star on its hands. The songs are featured on her new Every Girl EP, available from her official site.
