Though Entourage may have wrapped its final season, the regulars who appeared on the show, you know who I’m talking about, Vince, Drama, Turtle, Ari, E., Sloane, Billy Walsch and even Mrs. Ari enjoyed a career defining run. Almost every regular on the show save for Jeremy Piven is going to have a tough time shaking their Entourage persona, and can surely forget being known by any other moniker. It looks as if Jerry Ferrara aka Turtle everyone’s favorite sneaker sporting sidekick is embracing it.

Turtle was seen strutting the streets of NYC recently with a leggy blond on his arm, and Nike Dunks on his feet. While sporting sneakers with a suit is almost never admissible, I suppose we can afford Jerry a pass since he helped deliver sneaker culture to the HBO viewing masses. While I don’t have the Nielsen ratings on hand to back it up, Entourage has been one of the most popular series of my generation and will always hold a special and strange place in my heart. If you’re in your mid 20s like I am, you’ve seen an episode of Entourage, unless you’ve been residing in the forest with no TV and without knowledge of how to work the Internet. While Jerry may not posses the same die-hard sneaker admiration Turtle did, he’s still giving a nod to the character in his tailored black suit paired with Nike SB Dunk “Loons.” What do you think—does Turtle get a pass? Or does is it a non-issue since his girlfriend Alexandra Blodgett is so becoming?
