Jewelry designer Alexis Bittar is feeling pretty bitter.

The 43-year-old, self-described as one of the “greatest jewelry designers of the 21st century,” was strolling past the KardashianDash store in Manhattan when he noticed something very familiar in the store window.

“I passed the Dash pop-up store on Broadway, and I saw that Kim [Kardashian]‘s pieces were very similar to mine, and she definitely has been taking note,” Alexis told the Post. “The tricky thing is that we have sent pieces to Kim in the past to wear, so now I have told my staff we cannot send anything to her. She was definitely influenced by my designs without a doubt. In the reality TV world, there are so many people coming out with lines to capitalize on their TV shows. They are not designers and they are just stealing,”

The reality starlet launched Belle Noel at the end of September. The Egyptian-inspired jewelry collection includes 14k rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and bangles ranging from $38 to $188. Kim’s camp has released a statement deeming any resemblance between Alexis’ work and Belle Noel “purely coincidental.” For now it seems the lame excuse will stand as Alexis has no plans to take any legal action against Kim.

“You have to be very careful to pick and choose your battles,” Alexis said. “I haven’t talked to Kim about it; the truth is she might not even know. She might be so far removed from it (the design process), and her designers just go shopping and knock things off. But we are definitely not lending to Kim any more, she has been barred.”
